Alba Nueva is set in a small working village with a mix of Spanish and Europeans. There 4 bedrooms that can be adapted to be 4 doubles. If there are 8 single adults 2 of the rooms have a single and a double bed enabling each to have their own bed or can be used as a family room for mom dad and child.The pool is an above ground pool and is 3mt by 5mt. We live on site but in seperate accomadation so we will be there to help if needed or we will simple leave you to it.The views are spectacular. Perfect for hill walkers , mountain bikers and superb for golfers as we are 2.2km from lauro golf with it's 27 hole course. Being so central it a fantastic base for touring, Ronda, el chorro lakes, Estapona are all an hour away. Gibraltar is 1hour 30 away . Malaga airport is just 18 mins and the coast and its beaches are 20 min. Mijas is 20 mins by car or by bike over the mountain (if you feel energetic). We do not allow student groups or hen and stag groups .
Philip and Marula (phil and lou) we have lived in this beautiful village since 2016 and never tire of the fabulous views and friendliness of the village. We are keen walkers and Phil is into his mountain biking so would take you on a route or two if you require . Happy help you with our local knowledge and any queries you have .
The village boasts two lovely Spanish bars and both serve traditional tapas and very tasty main meals at very competitive prices. We have a village shop which can provide you with your basic needs. There are supermarkets just a short drive away in either Alhaurin de la Torre and alhaurin el grande. The golf course also has 2 restaurants. There is a small play area for children just next to the adults gym playground. The village pool is also open through July and August. The village has its own feria week at the end of July. Alhaurin el grande has there much bigger feria the end of May .
