The flat is set in a tranquil patio garden of orange trees, roses and a fountain. There are two bedrooms. One has a queen-size double bed and the other a single bed. Two further guests can be accommodated in the living room where two single beds are fitted out as sofas for daytime use. The spacious living room enjoys a view of the patio and offers a variety of seating arrangements. The kitchen is well equipped with a 5-fire gas stove, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee pots and a comprehensive set of utensils. The bathroom has a walk-in shower. Towels, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are also provided. There is a common terrace on the roof where you can enjoy Alhambra views.
Robert has lived in Granada since 2006 and thoroughly enjoys the hospitality and the magic of the city. He is a retired veteran journalist from Canada and a musician. Emily has moved to Granada in 2015 to start her new life with Robert. They have a charming little organic farm in the heart of Sacromonte.
Albaicin, the medieval heart of Moorish Granada, is a picturesque neighborhood popular with tourists for the enchanting atmosphere, twisting cobbled streets and Andalusian carmens with their cypress and lemon trees. Most of Granada's principal tourist attractions can be easily accessed on foot. The famous Mirador San Nicolas, with its majestic views of the Alhambra, is just 6 minutes' walk away. Few minutes' away is the Sacromonte Barrio, the traditional Gypsy quarter with its interesting cave houses and Flamenco music and dance. Also a few minutes' away is the popular Paseo de los Tristes, lined with outdoor bars and restaurants under the foot of the Alhambra The Cathedral, Capilla Real, Mercado San Agustin, Alcaicería & Plaza Bib-Rambla, etc are all within 20 minutes on foot. If you are feeling energetic, the Alhambra is also only 20 minutes, but up a steep hill. Nevertheless, buses to the city center are just a minute away from the apartment and a dedicated tourist coach with brings you to all the major sites of interest is 3 minutes away.
