Monseñor, completed in January 1992, is a residential community of individual home owners from a variety of European countries. Monseñor has no affiliation with any tour operator. Playa del Cura offers a beach cove and a quieter location from which to enjoy the amenities of Puerto Rico, which is just 4 km from the resort. With it's relaxed atmosphere and lack of nightclubs, it is perfect for those seeking a quiet holiday.

Set around a peaceful bay, the resort of Playa del Cura rises amphitheatrically from the dark sands of the beach. Many of the hotels and apartments are terraced into the sides of the cliff and overlooking the ocean. Playa Del Cura beach with natural black sand is just down the road. 3 Bus stops away lies the beautiful white sands of Amadores Beach, which sits in a protected bay with calm, turquoise swimming waters and a good choice of watersports. Just 1,5 km from the resort you will find the Anfi Tauro Golf Club, beautifully located in the lush Tauro Valley and encircled by mountains. The club is set around landscaped gardens and lakes and boasts an 18 hole championship golf course designed by renowned golf course designers Von Hagge, Smelek and Baril, a 9 hole par 3 course, chipping and putting greens, practice bunkers, a driving range, a pro-golf shop and a golf academy. Puerto Rico is less than 10 mins away by Taxi or local bus. You can find scuba diving, paragliding, jet skis and lots of other water activities here. The harbour at Puerto Mogan is approx 10km away and from here you can take a dolphin-spotting cruise or go go game fishing.
