Aparthotel Arai 4* Superior

Pros: Location, decor, bathroom and bed were all fantastic

Contras: Wasn't offered breakfast or use of the swimming pool/sauna by staff. Asked for a room looking into the square at the back, but this wasn't possible unfortunately.

Pros: The staff were truly friendly. I left my purse in a restaurant near the hotel. I realized it the next day. The Xavi was too helpful and made sure he called the restaurant owner and left a message informing him about my missing purse. I had my everything in it and could not go back home without my bag. He made sure he left a message for the afternoon staff so they keep calling the restaurant owner till they reached him. I got a call from the afternoon staff informing me that they reached the owner and that they found my purse with everything in it! I could not have done it without their constant effort. We loved the hotel to begin with, but the friendliness of the hotel staff was beyond our expectations. The location was very good. There are lots of bars and tapas places nearby and is very quiet at nights. I can just recommend this place for anyone who wants to have a very pleasant stay in Barcelona.

Pros: It has a truly beautiful interior, and is masterfully maintained.

Contras: I do wish they would update the equipment in the exercise room. It was fairy unusable and extremely outdated. I also wish they would include a full-length mirror in the room and better lighting for make up application in the bathroom. Also, a larger space (tables) to lay things out, would be very helpful, as the tables provided were quite tiny and, when you are there for 5 days, there is really not enough room to be organized.

Pros: Great location and walking distance to many of the sites of interest. Plenty of local bars and restaurants that don’t feel like the regular tourist traps. Very comfortable rooms and the hotel staff were amazing.

Contras: It can be a little noisy at night with all the surrounding tapas bars and shops.

Pros: Très bon accueil, chambre spacieuse très bien décorée et très propre.

Pros: الموقع ممتاز، في الحي القوطي، وبالقرب منه العديد من المطاعم الحلال. الفندق نظيف، والغرفة واسعة وفيها احتياجاتك كلها

Contras: لا يوجد في الموقع ما يشير إلى عدم وجود إفطار في الفندق أصلا، وإن كان الفندق يوفر إمكانية شراء الفطور لك من المخابز القريبة المتوفرة

Pros: الموقع جدا ممتاز قريب كثير من الأماكن السياحية الموظفين جدا لطفين الغرفة مصممة على الطريقة الريفيه معمولة من الخشب

Contras: لا يوجد أي خدمات في الفندق مثل مطعم أو جم او كافي

Pros: Excellent staff and location. This property is located in the Gothic Quarter near lots of restaurants, shops, and the Barcelona Cathedral.

Contras: Rooms at the back of the hotel hear a little noise from the square on the weekend.

Pros: Location was in walking distance of attractions

Contras: Nothing

Pros: Fantastic location and great hotel. All staff was super kind and even congratulated my girlfriend on her birthday. The executive room was amazing. Brilliant view of the city.

Contras: Small language barrier between reception staff and us. Nothing major, but makes it tricky when paying etc.
