If you don't want to spend your day relaxing by the pool you can drive to the beach. The nearest beach is less than 10 minutes by car (9 km). Down the coast your will also find Puerto de la Duquesa, a harbour that looks like a smaller (and cosier) version of Puerto Banús. Between Casares and Puerto de la Duquesa is Sabinillas, a former fisherman's village where every Friday you can stroll over the weekly market on the Paseo. Andalusia has lots of cultural heritage. You can visit many famous white town in the area (Casares, Gaucin, Genalguacil,...). Ronda, with the world-famous bridge, is 1h15 minutes away.
