The neighborhood is a very nice place near to everything, beach, restaurants, shops, pharmacy, the famous balcony to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. it is the best location in town to go everywhere just walking.

Pros: The owner (Jose) is fantastic! He met us on checkin, gave us a personalized map of restaurants and sights and encouraged us to hike up the Rio Chillar (hike up an ankle deep river). This last suggestion was awesome and was the highlight of our stay. Apartment is located on the edge of the historic pedestrian area...so close to everything. It's on the second floor (US style of counting floors) with a balcony that overlooks the street. While there are sports bars nearby, the windows are sound resistant and we had no problem with noise. There's a washing machine and drying racks which we used and were helpful. The kitchen had a coffee maker and a large number of coffee pods - nice touch. Bedroom has one of those steel roll-down window shutter, so no problem sleeping in - the room stays dark.
Contras: Balcony is nice but narrow with no view and the street below has a couple bars that were a bit noisy during the afternoon (people listening to soccer games). So didn't use it for breakfast or lunch.

Pros: We are return guests having stayed here on our first visit to Nerja the same time last year. We returned because we cannot fault the Axarquia Apartments - they are perfect for us. Fab location, excellent facilities within the apartment, extremely clean and a real home-from-home feel. All the little and important extras were waiting for us in the apartment - toiletries (so we didn’t have to check in a case), beach towels, beach chairs and parosel, water, juice, milk, tea/coffee........... The a/c in the bedroom is excellent and the apartment security is second to none. The star in the crown is Jose the owner. His level of customer service and customer care is EXCEPTIONAL! A wonderful warm welcome at the airport and then he waved us goodbye at the airport on our return! We now consider him our friend and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Nerja. Jose is our ‘Superman’! 👍😀

Pros: Sehr guter Service. Nähe zur Fußgängerzone. Möglichkeit Auto im Parkhaus abzustellen.
Contras: Gästebett war etwas durchgelegen. Leider z.T. etwas laute Straße.

Pros: Locatie was top t.ov. strand en centrum /restaurantjes. Appartement was zeer compleet ingericht. Niets ontbrak, zelfs strandstoeltjes waren aanwezig. Super aardige eigenaar die ons veel verteld heeft over de omgeving en lokale restaurantjes.

Pros: Apartamento super completo, muy bien equipado, mobiliario, cama extra grande y muy cómoda, electrodomésticos de calidad, recomendable la cafetera con las capsulas, todo muy limpio y prolijo. Insonorizado, aire acondicionado, buenas ventanas, el dormitorio con persianas. José excelente anfitrión, siempre estuvo a la orden, nos explicó todo el funcionamiento, los lugares para conocer, nos ayudó mucho, ya que estábamos sin auto, nos fue a buscar a la terminal y a la salida también, muy buenas charlas, un anfitrión de lujo ! Super agradecidos y esperamos volver pronto. Recomiendo sin dudas este alojamiento !!
