Contras: El piso de arriba no deja dormir tranquilamente, caminan corren todo el día y es muy molestoso para descansar. Se escucha todo.

Contras: Łóżko na antresoli. Do pokonania wysokie schody... Niski strop. Obsługa nie mówi w j.angielskim. Na korytarzu suszące się pranie. Jego zapach dominuje wokół.

Contras: Posizione spettacolare, nel quartiere medievale di Madrid ad un passo da puerta del sol e dal palacio real. Zona nonostante tutto molto tranquilla, cicino ai mezzi e facilmente girabile a piedi. L'appartamento era perfetto, piccolo ma assolutamente adeguato per due persone, arredato in maniera moderna e confortevole. Eliza è stata gentilissima, abbiamo comunicato attraverso un amico che parlava correntemente spagnolo per semplificare, spero di tornarci presto! Madrid e i dintorni sono bellissimi

Pros: The area, just off Calle Mayor and not far from Plaza Mayor, is about right. A couple of useful Metro stops are not far away. There are plenty of options for drinks, dinner and dessert just below the Plaza Mayor. While the wooden stairs upstairs and the floor was noticeably warped, the lift worked and the bldg security seemed fine. Didn't use TV or stove but fridge worked, as did the lights, both sinks and shower, which held its heat. The kitchen table was good for lap top.

Contras: The WiFi went out the first night. Had to go back to Plaza Mayor to the Info office to get online again and send an email via Booking.com to their contact for the property. It was fine thereafter. There is no reception; what communication I received was in Spanish so had to use Google for translation. Fortunately the cleaner was onsite to let me into apartment and someone else in bldg was able to point to the right door. The oddest thing was the bed and closet space was in a loft above the kitchen, living and bath rooms, The stairs to it were staggered. Had to be very conscious of climb up and down, so not for anyone with mobility issues. Shower stall smelled slightly of mold.
