The apartment is located 3 minutes' walk from the sandy Luna Beach, via an easy paved walkway that allows access with a child's pushchair without needing to cross a road. It is located in a private secluded block, next to a small Mediterranean pine forest, which the apartment's outdoor terrace backs onto. The private gated estate encloses a well-maintained, crystal-clear swimming pool, open 365 days of the year, within beautifully landscaped gardens of pine trees and palm trees. The accommodation boasts two bedrooms, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Capacity can easily be increased to six adults by folding out the sofa bed in the living room. A travel cot (with linen) is also available on request. A newly fitted modern kitchen equipped with dish-washer, oven and induction hob connects with the spacious living/dining area via a traditional hatch (small breakfast bar). There is further comfortable dining for six people on the private terrace outside in the shade of the pine forest, with its own built-in barbecue. The family bathroom, immediately accessible from either bedroom, is equipped with toilet, bidet, a bath with shower-screen and a double washbasin.
We are a married couple (now a family!) that has lived in the Malaga area for 8 years. We love the area so it is our passion to do everything we can to make your holiday perfect too. For those days when you want to escape from the beach and pool, there are many wonderful local attractions and possible excursions, and we have left discount cards for these in the apartment for our guests. Please let us know of any specific requests or requirements and we will do our very best to fulfil them. We especially understand the needs of families, as well as travellers of any age.
Luna Beach is a fine sandy beach, about 1km long, nestled between the rocky coastline of Calahonda on the one side and the Cabo Pino marina on the other. Right outside the apartment, on the other side from the beach, are some gentle pine forest walks, and further afield there are many possibilities for more serious hiking, cycling and horse-riding. The apartment is about equidistant on the coast from both Marbella to the west and Fuengirola to the east, at about 15 minutes' drive to each. The historic centre of Malaga, with its Roman amphitheatre, Moorish alcazaba (fortress), the Picasso Museum and many other museums and cultural attractions, is about 35 minutes by car. The beautiful "pueblo blanco" of Casares and the cliff-top town of Ronda, made famous by Ernest Hemmingway, are both about an hour's drive away. For a serious day-trip, Granada with its world-famous Alhambra, is less than 2 hours' drive, and slightly further afield, Seville and Cordoba. Much, much closer, there are a myriad of fun attractions for kids, such as the zip-line adventure park (Aventura Amazonia) which is 5 minutes' drive away, and the water park at Mijas about 10 minutes' drive from the apartment.
