Casa Arroyo - Rosa & Nispero are nestled amongst the olive tress of its own grove in the beautiful region of Iznajar, Cordoba. The property is an old Cortijo that has been upgraded and sympathetically renovated to maintain its' quirky features but with the all important modern facilities. Both houses have their own independent front door and access to the Pool & Deck. Casa Rosa, 2 bed house, is all on one level and has a gorgeous sun terrace with dining facilities, BBQ and sofas. Casa Nispero is a traditional Andalucian house on several levels built around a pretty courtyard with dining facilities, BBQ and relaxed seating. The pool and pool deck is raised and at the rear of the property offering fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and olive groves, a perfect place to chill during the day and at night the stars are "out of this world". We have no light pollution here in the campo, a great opportunity to stargaze. Situated on this deck is the games room - offering ping pong, dartboard, inflatables, board games and many other games. There is also a fridge for keeping the drinks and ices cool whilst you chill out.
My sister Jan and I moved to Iznajar in July 2017 and set about developing the property and rental business. We have worked hard and continue to do so, personally managing the properties to ensure that our guests receive the best, high quality service before and during their holiday with us. We love meeting new people and we have had the pleasure to host some wonderful guests from all over the World. We love to tell them about this spectacular area and educate them on the "real" Spain. It is a joy when guests repeatedly say "I never knew Spain was so beautiful and picturesque" We provide high quality bed linens, towels, pool/beach towels, the kind of quality we would expect when we holiday. We have tried to provide for all eventualities, a home from home, but if we haven't, just ask and we will sort it out. The peace and quiet surrounding the properties is amazing, you can actually hear the birds, crickets and sometimes frogs calling to each other during the early morning and evening. So relaxing! We make the most of the area in our spare time playing badminton, golf, white water rafting, kayaking, walking & are more than happy to introduce our guests to these experience
We are located 2kms from the gorgeous Iznajar Lake and beach where you can take part in all sorts of activities - pedallos, kayaking, sailing, tennis, padel or just lounge on a sunbed or chill at Paco & Gracias beach bar. Iznajar itself, the hilltop village is a traditional white pueblo with many bars and restaurants where you can sample the local cuisine, or just a leisurely drink whilst exploring the little lanes. The surrounding area is amazing with Granada, Seville, Malaga, Ronda, Antequera being easy driving distances you can visit the magnificent Alhambra, Le Mesquita, Caminito del Rey and return "home" in time for your al fresco dinner. The entire area is dotted with beautiful little white villages waiting to be explored, each one offering something - the specialist trout in Riofrio, the pottery of Las Ramblas, the quaint village square in Archidona, the castle and bull ring of Antequera, to name but a few. It is a superb place for exploring by car, foot, bike, horse - and we can arrange for our guests to enjoy these experiences.
