My Bed & Breakfast is located in the center of the beautiful mountain village of Competa. I offer 3 different types of rooms at different prices with or without breakfast.All have private bathroom. From the village you can walk and cycle in the mountains. In the village there are shops, art galleries, many beautiful plazas and restaurants, we also have a live music bar at weekends, live flamenco once a month. The beach is only half an hour drive away. You will enjoy my place because it is a traditional Spanish house. I have a large dining room downstairs. I serve a breakfast in the dining room. Please let me know know your choice and time on arrival. A guest fridge is available for food and drink storage. Upstairs on top is the lovely roof terrace with mountain and sea views,sun beds and hammocks which ever you prefer! You can bring your food and drinks up and enjoy the views! My house does not have an elevator, not recommended for guests with health problems. At the moment l am learning Spanish and also being irish speak english.
Hello my name is Finola, I am Irish born, trained as a chef in London. l am a world traveler and l have lived in Asia for 16 years running an Island resort and restaurant before coming to Spain. I settled here in Competa in March 2019 when l took over this B&B (previously Casa de Kom). I enjoy sharing my house with worldwide travelers. My house is a typical Competa house complete with stairs (No elevator). I welcome you to my house and l hope you feel at home.
I live in a quiet traditional Spanish village street and yet only 2 minutes walk to the central Plaza of Competa. Competa has beautiful old mountain streets maize like at times with beautiful flowers, atmosphere and amazing hospitality from the locals. There are many Plazas with charming restaurants and cafes, a beautiful Catholic church, and many walks, short and long for all ages and fitness levels. Famous for Olive oil,Honey, local fruits,vegetables and nuts and of course the Competa Wine. For walking the streets of Competa village, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
