The property is located in the hills above Marbella and as such is an approximate 5min drive from the carretera, however its location provides truly fabulous views, well worth the short drive. From the two balconies you can see Marbella, Puerto Banus, round to Sotogrande, Gibralter and the Rif Mountains above northern Morocco. We find it particularly relaxing in a morning drinking a cup of tea watching the early morning sun rise and equally satisfying watch sun set with a glass of Cava. The communal pool is fabulous place to entertain the children through the day. If you enjoy golf you are less than 2km away from at least three excellent golf courses - Marbella Golf Club, Santa Clara and Rio Real. There are another 49 golf courses situated around Marbella if golf really is your thing. Marbella Old Town is less than 6km away and has a beautiful old town. Los Naranjos is a wonderful place to eat, or a wander along the beach front sampling the Tapas is also recommended. Puerto Banus is only 17km away and offers all the best European night life you could want together with world class shopping. Having your own vehicle is a must to truly enjoy the location.
We enjoy watching the children play in the pool and make friends with other children of differing nationalities. We mix our time from being around the pool relaxing all day, strolling around Marbella Old Town and having a leisurely lunch at the beach bars.
The property is situated in an urbanization set in the hill of Alto de Marbella. The townhouses are traditional old Andalusian style. The urbanization has a large communal pool. Our property is front line and has uninterrupted views of the coast line. As the property is in the hills it is advisable to have a car as the property is located approximately 5 mins drive off the carretera , however, I can advise that the views are well worth the short drive.
