Casita Gecko, newly refurbished, rustic casita set amongst the olive groves, with magnificent views of the National Park. Located opposite the white-washed village of Alcaucin, and just 10 minutes drive from shops/restaurants at Puente don Manuel and Alcaucin. Alhama Granada with its Castles, Churches and Hot Springs just 50 minutes drive away. A small cozy lounge, a well equipped kitchen & 2 adjoining bedrooms ( please note the bedrooms are separated by a curtain only, people using the smaller bedroom have to pass through the larger one to access to the rest of the Casita. The Casita has large bathroom and private pool. Ideal for a romantic break for two, or a small family. An excellent retreat to unwind, relax or use as a base to explore surrounding towns & villages. The Casita is sat in a rural location sat among olive trees and looks up at the small hamlet called Alcaucin. The evenings are special when the sun has dropped and the stars & moon come out. The surrounding houses and Alcaucin light up giving it a special atmosphere.

We are an English couple (Paul/Bev) that arrived in Spain in the summer of 2018 with our two Weimaraner dogs, Lilly & Vinny. We hope to make your stay as comfortable as possible and are always on hand to assist in making your stay a memorable one.

A short drive to the local villages of Alcaucin and Puente Don Manauel offer shops, bars and restaurants. The beautiful Lake Vinuela is 15 minutes drive away and a larger town called Velez Malaga just 15 minutes further down the road. The nearest beach can be found 30 minutes away at Torre Del Mar. Nerja, Torrox & Comares within easy reach.
