Enjoy a beautiful view of old Madrid from the balcony of my apartment in the heart of Madrid. Located in Plaza Mayor, a charming area full of history, restaurants, tapas and wine shops. Within a short enjoyable walk you may find Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace, Mercado San Miguel, Cathedral de la Almudena, Puerta del Sol and Opera. You’ll love my place because It's a charming, luxury and authentic house on a great historical location. Everything of the old centre is on walking distance. THE SPACE The apartment is a duplex and has a saloon / dining room with a kitchen and 2 balconies with view on the Plaza Mayor. As guest you can sleep in the bedroom below with balcony which is combined with a private bathroom. Upstairs there is an other double bed with a bathroom and the possibility to add a matras for an extra person. It's a historical house (220 years old, no elevator located at the second floor) with all modern needs and in a very well shape. So it's combining old with modern needs. CHILDREN Children of every age are welcome but young children can't be left alone or unattended in the apartment because of the 2 balconies. Parents are responsible to take care.

Pros: Well equipped and nicely furnished apartment. Fantastic location overlooking Plaza Mayor. Ideal for couples.
Contras: Only negative was the 4 flights of stairs!

Pros: Empezando por el trato y recibimiento de Michel ( dueño ) hasta las vistas de la habitación. Sitio ideal para conocer el centro de Madrid , con buena comunicación y una oferta gastronómica de los alrededores inmejorable. Dentro del piso , aparte de tener habitación con baño y vistas a la Plaza Mayor , tienes acceso a la zona de cocina completa, con cafés ya incluidos en la casa. El baño de la habitación está muy muy bien , completamente equipado ( incluso toallitas y cremas ) DE 10!!!
Contras: Por poner una pega , es la ausencia de TV ( algo que tampoco eché en falta )

Pros: La ubicación y las vistas son lo que destacaría del alojamiento. Son geniales para estar por el centro de la ciudad. Sin embargo por el precio, y conociendo otras opciones por Madrid en hostales boutiques o hoteles, no repetiría.
Contras: Pensé que era un apartamento turístico y que los dueños no vivían allí. Hay poca intimidad porque por la mañana se escuchaba todo lo que hacían. Todo. Fue incomodo y no me plantee ni desayunar allí en el apartamento.

Pros: Excelente ubicación , en plena plaza Mayor .Es una habitación con baño compartida en un apartamento , no es un hotel
Contras: Hay que subir dos pisos por escaleras, y con valijas se hace pesado. No tiene ascensor .

Pros: Michel, el anfitrión, es muy cordial y amable. La ubicación,en la Plaza Mayor, es perfecta y a pasos del mercado San Miguel.
Contras: Lamentablemente coincidimos con la final de la champion por lo que resulto muy ruidoso. Esto no es responsabilidad del propietario
