The El Faro area is full of character and well appointed, with shops and lovely restaurants within walking distance. Further along, there's Fuengirola with it's clubs, bars and amusements (waterpark, Bioparc etc.) or Marbella & Puerto Banus for those seeking a more posh experience. Mijas Pueblo, Ronda, Malaga, Gibraltar or Granada are all easy one day trips. Truly, you will be spoiled for choice and will have to come back several times to do it justice.
