El Sitio is part of the small-holding called Finca Franceses which is in the rural area of Garafia, La Palma. Meaning 'The Place,' El Sitio was formerly a small barn and is a short distance from the main house. Although it's not big, we have created it with tiny living in mind so that it contains a kitcenette, shower, toilet, dining table and small double bed and yet it still feels calm and spacious. From the patio at the front, the sea view is nothing short of amazing! Here, it's all about pausing the fast paste of life - explore the unchanged north of La Palma, relax in reclining chairs, yoga on the patio, absorb the view, hiking, walking, star-gazing, painting, music, sort out your photos or even working away from the office. Spend time on your own or with your partner. Just to point out, the bed measures 120cm width and 190cm length. It's fine for a couple (two people) but if you're fairly large, then it might not be suitable. However, the mattress and base are new and it's a good bed!
Hi! We are Ann and David from York, Yorkshire in the north of England. In 2002, we made ourselves homeless and jobless and left the UK to set out for the Canary Islands to find a new way to live! Although we went to each and every one of the Canary Islands in our search for the right place, it was La Palma that stole our hearts.
