Pros: Everything was perfect. I would book again and again this apartment. Bus stops right in front, not far from the Santa Justa rail station and the old center. There is also a kitchen with all the things one might need and a big fridge. Somebody said something about the noise in the night, the cracking ceiling wood. If you turn off the AC minutes before you go to sleep in the night, there will be no more such noises. As soon as I found out the reason, it didn't bother us anymore. The balcony was a good extras. The couch downstairs it is worn out, it's true but I didn't have to sleep on it. Guests have destroyed the couch not the owner. The owner has to buy another couch every 4 or less months. It is obvious that some furniture in short time goes down the drain. Important is that we had a good functioning AC, room more than enough for two, supermarket MAS right "next door", silence in the night although not far from attractions, buses right in front and balcony where we could have in the night couple of long drinks and a smoke. Somebody said there was no sponge for dish-washing. It is cheap, no fortune. We have bought a sponge, olive oil, a bag of ice, salt and left the remains there as we checked out for the next visitors. Also a can of Pepsi and two small beers. Check in and out without hassle, left the keys on the table and we went. If you are out always for searching negative facts, stay home, nowhere is perfect but this location is a lot better than many hotels. At the front kitchen door is missing a cover over the window and that made us feel uncomfortable because in the night you have no privacy as you turn the lights on. We did hang a cloth over and that was it. Give it a try, you won't be sorry. I didn't mention the very friendly owner that gives you space but is always, when you need, in touch over the phone.
