Villa Marlis

Pros: Easy check in and check out, easy access to property which in second floor by elevator no need to worry about large luggages , spacious enough for four of us and comfortable. Location also great, walking distance to Casa Mila and Casa Batllo, host is friendly, very accommodating and help us with everything.

Contras: The house is not sound proof, we can hear the neighbour from above us. To set heater also quite challenging since the instruction in spain.

Pros: La ubicación de apartamento es muy buena y el mismo era amplio, con tres habitaciones y dos baños así como sala, un pequeño comedor y cocina. Era muy funcional porque nos permitía cocinar ahí mismo y eso causó un ahorro en los desayunos.

Contras: No tenían un coffee maker normal, sino uno de los que utilizan cápsulas. Si bien mi amiga sí los utilizó, yo preferí no hacerlo por razones ambientales. Estas cápsulas generan una cantidad de basura no reciclable que es contaminante. Les incentivo a tener coffee maker más clásico, tipo chorreador, para así evitar tanto desperdicio.

Pros: Washing machine

Contras: Almost everything. Bad ventilation in the toilet, the smell is all over the apartment. The building is under construction, due so, no air conditioning, fresh air in the rooms and every day you will meet workers at your window :(, also, very dusty. Worst booking experience ever!!!

Pros: Все что надо для проживания - имеется. Отдельное спасибо за кофе машинку и капсулы!!!

Contras: Очень шумно, мы были с 12-15.10.19 велись работы фасада здания, начинают они работы с 09:00, под окнами. А до 3-х ночи на улице шумные компании, выспаться не получиться точно. Отдельно отмечу персонал, который каждый день писал, что готов во всех вопросах помочь, но при обращении к ним, ссылка была на Гугл. Хотя бы не раздражайте каждодневными письмами, готовыми помочь во всем. В первый день нам погулять толком не дали. Правда, мы сообщили персоналу, что будем к 21:00, и конечно же к 15:00 он нас не ждал, но разрешили оставить вещи и прогуляться, пока уборку сделают. Они сообщили, Уборка закончена, можно возвращаться, и зарегистрироваться. Но мы ушли ооочень далеко, и нам начали сообщать, что лучше вернуться поскорее, а то пойдёт штраф. Но мальчик который нам давал ключи, сразу сказал, оформиться можно и по телефону. Короче, нам пришлось бегом возвращаться, чтобы никого не подвести и не попасть на штрафы. Почему же сразу нельзя было нас зарегистрировать? на регистрацию пришёл тот же мальчик который нас встречал.

Pros: Хозяин был на связи, что очень важно для меня, и ждал нас, пока мы не заселились. The host was in touch, which is very important to me, and waited for us until we checked in.

Contras: Квартира на 2м этаже в доме на узкой улице напротив бара. В этом баре до 3 часов ночи компания очень громко отмечала день рождения. Нам надо было вставать в 4 утра, но веселые крики из бара не дали нам заснуть. Не понимаю, неужели в Барселоне нет закона о тишине, ведь на улице жилые дома, в которых люди хотят спать. Это было очень неприятно перед долгой дорогой домой. Apartment on the 2nd floor in a house on a narrow street opposite the bar. In this bar till 3 o'clock in the morning the company very loudly celebrated birthday. We had to get up at 4 in the morning, but cheerful shouts from the bar kept us awake. I do not understand, really in Barcelona there is no law on silence, because on the street houses in which people want to sleep. It was very unpleasant.

Pros: -Close to the city center, metro and attractions - helpful staff members, we arrived at the property 20 minutes early, Sweet Bcn receptionist made himself available and passed us the keys (no reception inside the building)

Contras: - shower in one of the bathrooms was not working, water was either too hot or too cold - safety box was not working

Pros: Very nice apartment in Gracia. It was clean, and had everything we needed. AC worked very well. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The building was clean and very quiet and comfortable. The person who checked us in gave us complete information about the apartment and also about the city. Great recommendations we have really benefited from.

Contras: Sometimes hot water would momentarily stop during showers, and one of the rooms didn’t have an AC, only a fan.

Pros: Fab location Welcoming host

Pros: There was AC which actually worked well. This was a must because it was hot out there. Plenty of space and nice staff. Would definitely pick them to stay again next time.

Pros: The hostess was very pleasant and helpful.

Contras: We could not get the hot water functioning in one of the bathrooms.
