La Rambla, is a street in central Barcelona, popular with tourists and locals alike. A tree-lined pedestrian mall, it stretches for 1.2 kilometres (0.75 mi) connecting Plaça de Catalunya in the centre with the Christopher Columbus Monument at Port Vell. La Rambla forms the boundary between the quarters of Barri Gòtic, to the east, and El Raval, to the west. La Rambla can be crowded, especially during the height of the tourist season. Its popularity with tourists has affected the character of the street, with a move to pavement cafés and souvenir kiosks. The tree lined central promenade of the Rambla is crowded during the day and until late in the night. Its origins as a watercourse are reflected in the paving design, which appears to ripple like water. Along the promenade's length are kiosks that sell newspapers and souvenirs, other kiosks selling flowers, street traders, performers, and pavement cafés and bars. Several notable sights are also located within the promenade, including a mosaic by Joan Miró, and the Font de Canaletes, a famous fountain and popular meeting point. Strolling along La Rambla one can see such historic buildings as the Palace of the Virreina.

Pros: The apartment was very comfortable and the living room very well decorated. The view to the street from our balcony was excellent.
Contras: The apartment was not clean on arrival at 2.30 pm, the beds were not made, the bathrooms used and towels hung on chairs in the living room. We had to call the host to send the cleaning staff. We arrived at 6.30 pm and they were still cleaning the apartment. If you pay USD 120 for cleaning (very expensive), you would expect a spotless apartment on arrival.

Pros: Emplacement. Très spacieux, climatisation efficace, les gens de Key Plaza sont gentils.
Contras: Bruyant. Beaucoup de location dans l’immeuble. Des jeunes qui rentrent très tard et très bruyants. On entend marcher les gens au dessus. Si vous tombez sur des jeunes qui font la fête jusqu’a 5 hrs am c’est pénible.

Pros: Loads of space, the apartment had everything we needed, very clean and comfortable although could do with new pillows. Great location and very reasonably priced... absolutely loved the apartment, it even had a dishwasher, washing machine, full fridge and freezer. Host was great. Enough room for 8 people comfortably 2 shower rooms were amazing, 3 toilets very handy
Contras: The noise at night and high deposit which will be forfeited if there's noise (amongst other things) yet we were woken every night by people upstairs . Cleaning fee of 120 is quite steep, it should be based on amount of cleaning needed and considering deposit gets reduced if it's in a mess or dishes not done ir rubbish not taken out. Having to pay 50 to be let in after midnight due to late flight

Pros: Localisation en plein centre près de la place de Catalunya; appartement très vaste et très bien équipé. Très propre. Check-in rapide et pro, avec respect du timing.
Contras: La chambre donnant sur le salon/séjour gagnerait à être occultée :-), au lieu de ça, une belle cloison vitrée avec porte (vitrée elle aussi). Un simple rideau intérieur suffirait, d'ailleurs les fixations murales sont présentes, manque simplement le rideau...

Pros: Loved the size of the place and the design. Perfect for a large family or a group of friends. The location was also perfect.
Contras: The powder room was a bit smelly. It would also help if there were more towel hooks in all the bathrooms and a portable vacuum cleaner.
