The area is very very safe for kids (and indeed for adults). The B&B is located in the higher district of Trevélez, kids can be free to run around, can go explore and see the horses which are also visible nearby the house. There is no traffic. There is a restaurant located at 100 m, La virgen de las nieves, but it is also interesting to walk down to the mid district of Trevélez at 400 m from the house, where you will find more restaurants and shops. Trevélez very famous for its iberic ham is located in a rural area, you will not find shopping mall, fashion shops or trendy modern café. Outdoor activities such as, bicycle, horse riding and hiking (GR7- track to Mulhacen, is at the door of the cottage) are the main activities in Trevelez. Granada is at 1h20 mn, you can also visit this very nice and typical Andalusia. Trevélez is one of the most visited village in South of Spain.
