Casa del Bandolero was built new on the site of the village barber. The house's outdoor space consists of the patio on the ground floor (BBQ space), a small terrace on top of the utility room & the roof top terrace with panoramic views.

My thing at the moment is to welcome my guests and to attend to their needs. Chatting with clients and discovering new and interesting things, sharing travel experiences of places around the world and local events is a wonderful way to pass the time.

We are in the Genal Valley in the only blue village in Spain (formerly representing the Smurfs), based in the Serrania de Ronda. Despite the popularity of the Blue Village, the overall area remains relatively unknown. It has many trails for walking and hiking, it is very green for an area in the heart of Andalusia. Basically, this area is ideal for nature enthusiasts due to the low volume of traffic and its natural beauty. The hills are covered with lush chestnut trees which offer an autumnal colour change. In spring, there are literally hundred of types of wild flowers that pop over the weeks from early March to late May. Summers can be hot but there are lovely natural river swimming areas and then all the local summer fiestas to keep the heat at bay. Besides the fantastic colours of autumn, there are the wild mushrooms that bait people into coming to search for them as well as the chestnut harvest. The Genal Valley is really a wonderful destination for a short break or a long holiday.
