Recently refurbished, our 2 apartments are practical and comfortable.The 2 bedroom is ground floor and the 1 bedroom is on the first floor. Both have a living/dining room with double sofabeds and flat screen TV, view over communal swimming pool. Bedrooms all have comfy beds and large wardrobes. Both have their own washing machine. Open kitchen (oven, 2 ceramic glass hob hotplates, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster). Shower/WC. Internet (WiFi, free). Small development of 36 Spanish style apartments, some still the homes of Spanish residents. Entrance on 2 roads, with security key. All kitchenware is provided , a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, clothes airer`s and beach towels provided. Arrive to a welcome pack so you can make a cup of tea or have a glass of water. As we life in the UK, Mamie my colleague will meet and greet you or we can sort keys for late arrivals.
We are lucky to have found La Carihuela a few years ago and fell in love with it, we now own 2 places here and in 2017 I spent more time here than in the UK. . All of the people are very friendly, but I love the fact it is still very Spanish here, don`t expect everyone to speak English. However I manage very well and my Spanish is in its early stages :)
La Carihuela is a lovely very popular old fishing village which still holds a lot of the charm from its past. There is everything you can ask for here. We are second line from the beach, it takes approx 3 mins from door to beach.. and it is a beautiful white sandy beach with family areas, beds, umbrellas, wifi , grass areas with palm trees, special Spanish beach cafes, public areas for sunbathing. Shops galore, you can pretty much buy anything you want and the restaurants, cafes and bakeries are fantastic. We are in between Benalmadena Marina and Torremolinos so you can experience what ever type of holiday you are after. They are 15 minutes walk along the promenade each way. Water sports available, bikes, car, motorscooters etc are close by to hire.
