This apartment is right on the footsteps of Playa del Postiguet, with Castillo de Santa Barbara in the back and a 5min walk to the city center of Alicante. The apartment has two bedrooms, each with double beds and exists to the back-side balconies. There is a bathroom with washing-machine and a shower, a fully equipped kitchen and living/dining room. The front side of the apartment exits out to a wide balcony with the most amazing and undisturbed view of the sea!
The apartment is located in Alicante's neighborhood "Raval Roig-Virgen del Socorro", popularly known as El Raval Roig, at the height of the Playa del Postiguet; to the southwest with the neighborhood of Casco Antiguo-Santa Cruz. The neighborhood is located next to Postiguet beach and in the foothills of Mount Benacantil, which houses the Castle of Santa Bárbara. The Raval Roig was originally a marine district located outside the city walls. With the explosion of tourism in the 70s, the profile of low houses of the nineteenth century was giving way to the buildings characteristic of that decade. The fishing traditions of the neighborhood are currently limited to the patron saint festivities in honor of the Virgen del Socorro. These festivals are considered the oldest in the city. The neighborhood is very local and guests will find small cafés and shops in the area. All in all, the apartment is just but a short walk to everything that Alicante has to offer!
