Luz y Paz: Light and Peace. A lovely Alpujarra style villa, with two terraces, garden, organic vegetables and fruit trees. At 1200 meters altitude and with endless views. A unique combination of an ecologic farm with all the comfort you need. Built on two acres of land, on one of the four mountain terraces and thus very private. The tranquil sound of the rivers can be heard. There is water from our own spring, as well as from the council, solar and mains energy and of course...... peace. Welcome to Luz y Paz. Before I tell you more, I invite you to check the 100+ wonderful 5* reviews my guests wrote about my other places in the past, on other booking sites, of which I am very proud. A bottle of organic wine is already waiting for you, as well as dried and fresh fruits from our orchard, if in season. The house has two large bedrooms with double beds, a huge 40 m2 livingroom, and can host up to six persons. We can supply 2 extra single folding beds. It borders a small river with lots of trees around. You can enjoy the tranquil sound of water flowing down the mountains. The house is 108 m2 , complete with everything you need.

I am a passionate traveler and nature lover. Lived in a couple of countries and met and hosted people from all around the globe, as well as been hosted. Through this site, other sites (CS) and through friends. Hosting is for me a way of life! I will be glad to assist you with any information and give you tips. When possible, even guide you to a bike trip, or go hiking together in the amazing surroundings of this country house/farm. This area of the Alpujarras sees less tourists than the coast. Mainly nature lovers, hikers and mountain bikers love to visit. This area is still traditional with it's small white villages and nice genuine spanish people. There are great walking routes. One of them: the famous GR7 passes at just a step from the property. How to reach our place: There are buses to Bérchules and Alcútar from Malaga, Granada and Almería. From Alcútar it is a 500 meters walk down to our place or you can be picked up by us. By car you can reach the house coming up from Cádiar. The last part of the road is a dirt road and you need to drive carefully. Guests come by normal car but a 4-wheel drive would be more comfortable. You can also come down from Bérchules/Alcútar and leave your car close to the house and walk 10 minutes down. From Cádiar you can walk up in half an hour. We can also pick you up by car if you desire. The beautiful ancient, yet vivid, city of Granada is just 90 km away. Don't miss a visit to the world famous Alhambra! Malaga is 180 km and Sevilla 300 km. All within reach. Even Morocco is only a 3 hours drive, with a short crossover...
