Pros: My first impression was that the rooms look a lot bigger than in the pictures and the apartment was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed, the coffee machine was much appreciated. Although a bit old fashioned it felt comfortable and homey. Communication with the owners was prompt and easy. Raul, the lovely man who greeted us and handed over the keys was so welcoming. Despite not speaking English (and me very little Spanish) he was able to effectively show us all we needed to know. Location was Excellent, very close to many restaurants and shops. The La Sagrada Familia was a five minute walk away and we were close to metro stations and found it easy to get around.

Contras: Nothing to complain about at all!

Pros: Manager was very friendly and informative. The apartment is located a block and half from the Sagrada Familia. Its a walk or short taxi ride from everywhere. Apartment has two full bathrooms, which was helpful for our family of 5. Decor is a little dated, but so what. Good value for the location.

Pros: The owner (Raúl) was exceptionally helpful beyond any reasonable expectation. The location is great for access to public transport and close (very easy walking distance) to Sagrada Familia. Many small shops around. Aldi a short walk. Major fresh food market very close. Many places to eat out. The neighborhood appears safe. Not too far from the major retail shops for people who have lots to spend (remember tax breaks for non-EU people).
