The inside open-plan and airy living space comprises kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. It has a high ceiling and light coloured floor tiles throughout, keeping it lovely and cool. It’s all on one-level, making all the rooms easily accessible for everyone. Double-aspect double glass doors open up onto the pool and side terraces, allowing the light flood in. All windows and glazed doors are lockable from the inside, providing security and peace of mind. Fresh clean linen and towels are provided on arrival. The island is environmentally-friendly so linen and towel changes during your stay are chargeable - linen change 50euros, towel change 30euros. Our friendly cleaning team can provide an extra clean during your stay for 70euros.
Casa Flamenco is a bright and stylish villa, just 10 minutes' drive from the centre of the ever popular Playa Blanca resort. Marina Rubicon is a pleasant 25 minute stroll or short drive away. An upmarket setting, you can shop till you drop and dine in the smart restaurants overlooking the yachts. The villa has contemporary interiors and an airy feel - a perfect base from which to explore. The terrace has plenty of sunbeds to laze on and a rectangular pool to cool off in, with partial views of the mountains. You'll have an alfresco dining set and a brick BBQ, so you can enjoy those holiday feasts in the sunshine. A pedestrian gate leads to a path and the villa entrance. The front door opens into a hallway leading to the living area. There is on road parking available for your hire car, located outside the gates of the development. There are 2 comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV, plus a dining table. At one end of the space is a well equipped kitchen with glossy white units. From here, a door opens to a utility room. The 3 bedrooms come complete with modern fixtures and furnishings. There is a large double bedroom with an en suite shower room and a door to the pool terrace.
We would suggest hiring a car for the convenience of getting around. Hiring a car on the island is very reasonable and we would recommend Autos Plus. However, the villa is less than a 10 minute walk to the nearest supermarket and bus stop. The supermarket even sells produce from Waitrose and Iceland! 5 minutes further and you reach the sea and a fabulous picturesque seafront walkway that takes you all the way to the gorgeous Marina Rubicon, Playa Blanca harbour and beyond. Once you reach the seafront, it’s an easy 10 minute walk (no hills!) into Marina Rubicon where there are fantastic designer label shops, indoor shopping centre, supermarkets, boutiques, cafes, bars and harbour-side restaurants, and the incredible Museo Atlantico (underwater museum). Pitch up in the evening at one of the fabulous harbour-side restaurants and watch the amazing sunsets! Marina Rubicon’s market is not to be missed and is held every Wednesday and Saturday from 10am - 2pm. If you wish to get around by bike, you can hire them here too. A water taxi is also available from Marina Rubicon to take you to the internationally acclaimed and unspoiled golden sands of Papagayo beaches.
