This is a homely house, a stones throw from the beach in a quiet fishing village in the north of the island. This is our family holiday home in a village we have loved for many years. As a family we have always travelled during UK school holidays when prices are often increased, we wanted to keep our rental prices affordable and are committed to keep our prices the same throughout the year. There are very good restaurants within walking distance, the swimming in the natural pools is a great family experience for young and old. There are sea and mountain views from the terraces on the top floor. Snorkelling and fishing here is some of the best on the island. Our favourite family beach Arrietta is a 15 minute walk from the house with lifeguards and two restaurants located on the beach. There is usually very good surf here, and children will love bodyboarding. We hope you enjoy your stay 🌞
The house is in a great location to explore the north of the island. It is very cosy and keeps cool in the summer months. The kitchen and dining areas are clean and tasteful and will easily allow guests to self cater. There are books, dvds and games for entertainment. Sorry no pets allowed.
The area is famous for surfing and more recently hiking the coastal footpaths has become very popular. This is one of Europe’s cycling destinations, with great mountain road challenges nearby. There is a ferry to Gracio which is a ten minute drive. The beautiful caves and facilities at Jameos are also five minutes away. If you truly want an authentic Canarian experience the small town at Haria and the valley of a thousand palms is also a ten minute drive away, here you can find the artisan market on Saturday morning and visit Cesar Manriques house.
