Marbella’s famous Skol Building (Edificio Skol) was the first building of its type in Marbella. Designed by renowned Modern Movement architect Manuel Jaén, it opened in 1963 as an apart-hotel but now comprises 3 wings of privately-owned apartments. The building encloses on three sides, large and beautiful, sub-tropical, private gardens opening onto the famous sandy beach of Marbella. The location is unique, as it is right in the heart of Marbella, so the Marbella Port, town centre and the historic quarter (Casco Antiguo) are all very easily accessible by walking and a car is definitely not required. The Skol gardens include three swimming pools: one for adults only, one for family use and the third a very popular toddler pool.
