A stylish new house incorporating reclaimed period features and all new materials makes this a comfortable and elegant house to stay in. The house has three bedrooms two with their own south facing terrace, and a patio off an open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room. From the top terrace there are spectacular views around the whole valley and the village of Alájar with its church steeple and clock tower Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and WC. The kitchen comes with all new Bosch appliances – oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle. If the house is rented in conjunction with either/or Casa Estrella or Casa Carmen there will be pool access in those houses. Casa Antonio is however located just a 2 minute walk from Alájar’s new 25 meter municipal pool which opened in 2015. The house is equipped with the latest aerothermic heating and cooling system which provides a comfortable indoor temperature all year round. In the summer the radiators provide air conditioning and in winter heating all controlled thermostatically. There is WiFi access and a large flat screen TV with separate DVD player.
The English owners of Tresvillas, Tony and Debby Brown, started with their first house Estrella in 2004 and have only recently added newly-constructed Antonio and Carmen in the last two years. All three houses are available as holiday rentals from 2017. Tony and Debby spend time in both the UK and Spain and Tresvillas is a project born out of their love of the Sierra de Aracena and Alájar in particular. Their taste for Spanish culture was begun in Mexico where they lived for 4 years and all of the houses include objects brought back from that country. Tresvillas gives extended family groups and friends the opportunity to spend time together while having a measure of independence by having their own villa. Or single family groups can just take one of the houses since they are also set up to be completely independent of each other.
The pretty village of Alájar, located in the largest natural park in Andalucía, is situated in the south west corner of Spain some 90 kilometres north of Seville where the nearest airport is to be found. Alájar is said to be the jewel in the Sierra de Aracena park because it is nestled under La Peña de Arias Montano, a national monument on a rocky outcrop above the village dating back to the 16th century. From here there are spectacular views of the beautiful verdant countryside with cork, oak, fruit trees and olive trees all around. A holiday here is perfect for those who love the sun, walking, horse riding, bike riding, bird watching, eating and drinking and enjoy spectacular countryside. As an ancient white Moorish hilltop village Alajar is full of interesting architecture with small narrow streets and many shops, restaurants and bars, all a short walk from Tresvillas. It’s the real Spain unspoilt by development and staying grounded in the friendly culture of the local region.
