Our apartments are located directly below the ruins of the Fortaleza Arabe, a 13th century Moorish lookout tower and the landmark of Freila Our traditional cave apartments have there own patios with seating and barbecue areas and all come with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and mountains, an outdoor pool and terraces can be found above the apartments, where you can relax on the terrace. As a self-catering apartment, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay. The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, a kettle and a coffee maker. The Village is of outstanding beauty, set within the mountains of Granada, the smallest within the Altiplano where 60% of the homes are cave dwellings. surrounded by three national parks and very close to the lake Negratín that is fed by therapeutic hot springs, also a spa centre situated next to the lake that utilises all of the therapeutic benefits. It also lends itself for more conventional pursuits, such as wild swimming, paddle boarding, kayaking, nature watching, fishing, etc. There are local shops, bars and restaurants, a bank, post office and a market that visits once a week. Strong traditions and local farming continues to thrive here in the village, where there is an abundance of olive groves, almond, pomegranate and fig trees with grape vines and other fruit and vegetables all within the campo. There are also a few restaurants situated around the lake, one that includes a Roman Bath and the closest is a five minute drive at the Freila recreation area.
