This property is set in the Alhama de Murcia region on the famous condado de Alhama golf resort It sports wonderful facilities including tennis courts, football pitches, There are many activities you can do in the resort including cycling which you can hire. There are pools in all gardens where you can lounge away the hours just reading a book. The star attraction is the Jack Nicolas 5 star golf course which surrounds the resort and you can hire clubs and golf trolley from condado handy man . This is all set in the wonderful country side with a Veiw of the mountains and Espuna national park.
My name is Paul Grimmett. I work as a carpenter in the U.K. I bought the apartment to relax in and get over the stress of normal day living back in the UK . When I visit I like to visit the many beaches in and around the port of Mazarrón but equally like to walk in the Espuña National park .
The Garden which we are on is a very child friendly one. The swimming pool and space around is all geared up for children. In the summer Holliday months The Al Kaza which is a cool place to go has many bars and resterants with fair ground rides and bouncy castles. It also has reverse bungy and the kids can cycle round the inner water feture .

Pros: Veldig bra, både mate og personalet i restauranten. Herlig med oppvarmet basseng. Flott utgangspunkt for turer i området, både til fots og med buss.
Contras: Lukten fra bossanlegget i gaten ved siden av hotellet var til tider meget ubehagelig og gjorde at vi ikke kunne bruke altanen så mye som vi ønsket. Ullteppene i soverommet kunne vært vasket, det var en del flekker på disse.

Pros: This is our second and by no means our last visit to the Apartments, excellent location, the pool side is very lovely and the apartment was fantastic, two bedrooms 1 and a half bathrooms. We had two balcony's which over looked the pool. The breakfast is the best I have had in a long time with a great selection and plenty of choices. The pool side is lovely so very clean and comfortable. The location is excellent the upper end of the strip so quiet but lots of restaurants and bars and you can walk everywhere. Would highly recommend for friends or family travellings.

Pros: We stayed at Barcarola because it was recommended by our daughter who had stayed there previously. Here is our review; Lovely breakfast room, very friendly and welcoming staff every morning. The breakfast was very tasty with a wide range of cereals, fruits,breads, cold meats, cheeses and traditional fry to choose from. Every possible coffee and coffee flavor and combinations are catered for. The breakfast room staff are excellent, friendly and courteous and also get the job done discreetly from a distance without being in customers faces! Having stayed in numerous locations in Lanzarote and around the Canary Islands including Fuerteventura, we found this apartment complex to be cleanest and best serviced of them all. The swimming pool area is excellent and very well maintained. This area is cleaned each evening after guests have retired from the pool area. There is a sprinkler system in place on the grounds here which is turned on each evening to refresh the complex. The complex therefore has a 'refreshed' feel about it each morning. The cleaning crews are the most courteous and efficient team that we have experienced over the years, and they leave nothing to chance in their meticulous cleaning of the rooms each morning. Doing the basic things very well are very important to tourists and at Barcarola they excel at this every single day. The clean crisp white sheets and well made beds are a joy to behold. We noticed during our 10 day stay here, that The Barcarola Teams work away quietly in the background and it is very comforting to know that they are there. We also noticed a management presence on 2 occasions during our stay which is also very welcoming to know. Management are obviously getting involved, discreetly, keeping standards high, While we spend substantial time travelling to Canada where we have family, the next time we return to Lanzarote we will be staying at Barcarole Club. Contras: WiFi was hit and miss, although was good enough to listen to music. Could not transact business on WiFi as it is not secure.! It does not have a secure certificate so does not have encryption over HTTPS. (Is HTTP). Security Certificates are not expensive, so there is no excuse. There is no HDMi slot on the TV but it would have been no good anyway as WiFi not good enough anyway.

Contras: Guests putting towels on sunbeds at 7.30am even though apartment rules said not to do this. Towels should be removed by management.
