The town of Javea is made up of 3 separate areas An historic Old town with wonderful picturesque cobbled streets with a Museum showing Javeas history. There is a superb indoor food market in the centre of the town and countless numbers of restaurants and Tapas bars to be found. Every Thursday there is a market in the Place de Constitution, a definite must to visit. Leaving the old town heading down to the sea you will find the Port area made up of the working fishing boats location and a fantastic Marina with an excellent waterside restaurant. There is a small beach made up of a pebbly beach and a small sandy area. Here you will find numerous restaurants overlooking the sea. From the port travelling along the sea front you will find The Blue Flag sandy Arenal beach again with numerous restaurants. In the surrounding areas you will find mountains to explore.
