Villa Monica

Pros: This is a refurbished farmhouse that was originally lived in by Monica's grandfather. The modernisation is bang up to date and very well thought out. It was literally a home from home. Even though there was only two of us the property did not feel too big. It has air-conditioning in every room that will heat or cool the area. There is a large terrace with a table and seating for eight with a well built barbeque area. There is a slat water swimming pool, but the weather was cooler when we stayed (end of November) so we did not try is although it looked inviting. The house itself is a short drive through local country roads and very rural. Monica meets you in the local Lidl and then leads you to the Villa. There is parking for three cars if needed. The Villa is on the side of the hill so there gradients to be conquered! The Kitchen is modern and very well equipped.It has the usual oven, Fridge/freezer, Microwave, washing machine & Dishwasher. In addition it also has a coffee machine, toaster, sandwich toaster and juicer! Plenty of towels on hand, including swimming towels.

Contras: My only criticism would be the lack of a bannister for the stairs which have high risers as well as 90 degree turn two thirds of the way up. This may be more pertinent to those who have mobility issues.

Pros: We loved the rural location and the fantastic interior of the Villa. We stayed here for two weeks with our Family (grandparents, parents and children 34,31,23). The villa offers anything one could ask for. The beds are very comfortable. The hosts are very caring and helpful. All in all a perfect holiday in amazing location. Thank you Monica & Pedro

Pros: Härligt hus med pool och allt. Låg i ett odlingsområde där man främst odlade avokado, apelsiner och mango. Huset låg mitt i en odling. Extremt lugnt och inga grannar. Mycket trevliga värdar. Väldigt välstädat och modernt boende. Toppen!

Contras: Ligger väldigt avsides. Bil är ett måste. Inga problem för oss som önskade lugn och ro. Sängarna är Max 160cm.

Pros: Lovely villa. Monica and her husband were fantastic. Very easy to get hold of . Highly recommend Villa Monica.

Pros: Great pool, lovely location and really clean and modern house.

Pros: Simply amazing house, super designer modern yet family friendly, massive clean rooms, open kitchen with everything, huge internet connected TV with Netflix access, outdoor terrace, pool with toys.... list goes on. Hosts are very responsive and helpful, thanks for the lift!!

Contras: Location - but it depends on what you want. Its a solid 30 min walk to Nerja, and 15 mins and up down dusty farm/industrial area if you want supermarket. If you have 1 car, and want to relax all week its no problem. If you have two cars and want to visit Nerja for tapas or drink then its not so convenient. But once you arrive at the house its so good you wont/dont leave anyway, so it doesnt matter.

Pros: Loved Villa Monica! Hosts are great, really helpful and are always available to answer any queries etc.. Beautiful Villa with fab pool and amazing views. Very high spec in every way. Everything you need. Had a brilliant week.

Pros: La casa es preciosa y con todo lujo de detalles, desde bicis hasta juegos de mesa. Mónica y Pedro estuvieron en todo momento súper pendientes de que todo estuviese perfecto y de solucionar cualquier problema de forma inmediata. Lo recomiendo 100%.

Pros: La piscina

Contras: La lejanía al pueblo y playa y mala señalización para llegar

Pros: Accomodatie was zoals op de foto’s. Rustig gelegen, mooi uitzicht op de heuvels en zee. Goede uitgeruste keuken, zalige bedden, lekkere attentie bij aankomst. Alles was kraaknet!
