Car hire is recommended although not essential but would give the opportunity to explore this fascinating island. As the villa is detached there is ample space all the way round the property - making it possible to find sun and shade at all times. A sun lovers dream! We are a family of four who have enjoyed many wonderful holidays in Corralejo, hence the reason for buying a villa there. We had got tired of the package tour type holiday with the regimented structure, low graded accommodation and reps at the welcome meetings only interested in selling their trips! We currently live in Billericay in Essex and have busy lives with work and family. We bought this property as we loved the fact that it was slightly out of town on a residential complex but offered the chance to get away from it all. lt has wonderful far reaching views to the islands of Los Lobos and Lanzarote. It also has the benefit of only being minutes away from the bustling town of Corralejo which offers an abundance of tapas bars, restaurants and shops and the wonderful uncrowded beaches which Fuerteventura is so famous for.
Villadunas is situated front line to the Dunas National Park of Corralejo (Parque Natural) enjoying panoramic views of the sea, sand dunes and the islands of Los Lobos and Lanzarote. It is in a residential complex yet only a 3 minute drive/25 minute pleasant walk to the bustling town of Corralejo and the nearest beach. A taxi to the centre of town costs less than 5 euros. The development consists of luxury apartments, terraced, semi-detached and detached houses with only a privileged few having a front line position (our villa being one of them).
