The Borne apartments are special because they are in a location that is close enough to the Barcelona city center, the Plaza Catalunya but far enough to be in an area that is still very local and tranquil.

The neighborhood is amazing and one of my favorites in the whole city. The Arc de Triomf is right down that street which in a lot of senses has become the new and improved "ramblas" with street performers, sunshine and families. The Parc de la Ciutadella is close by which is a great place for a walk, a picnic or a bike ride. The Barcelona zoo is on the end of the park. The Borne is full of restaurants, Santa Maria del Mar church and history.
Contras: It was about a 20 minute walk to the Gothic Quarter, however, the metro line was right around the corner.

Pros: Cool interior. Modern. Although, they could have done something different with the bathroom sink. But loved the place!
Contras: Only one thing! I have been given the keys and tour of the apartment by a very nice guy when I arrived. But the people that were in contact with over Email and Whatsapp did not make me feel welcomed, or like I'm a threat to their property! Every communication, made me feel guilty or at risk of mistake. It was the most obvious unlikein feeling from my experience of this cool Attic Apartment.

Pros: Beautiful apartment, close to walk everywhere quiet and clean.
Contras: The only complaint was waiting for someone outside the apartment to collect the key, after a few phone calls and speaking with 2 different people with different responses to what time someone will be there was confusing and frustrating as we were told originally that when we got of our ship and rang them the first person told us there will be someone there outside to meet us but wasn’t, it ended up taking 2 hours to get in. But after that no complaints😊

Pros: Location was great, apartment was beautiful and comfortable for how modern it was, The welcome package was appreciated and immediately cracked into. Thank you for a great experience.
Contras: The glass door is almost impossible to move. The deck was unfinished (not really a big deal). And the power tripped 2x. Otherwise everything was great, that door though....bring a rugby player if you want to open or close it.
