The Yurt is furnished to a high standard with all required to comfortable sleep 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children so families are very welcome as an additional bed can be set up. The yurt is situated on the mountain side of Arico with spectacular views of the mountains one side and you can see the sea the other sidd. Its very private with walls surrounding the property and its own separate equipped kitchen with all modern appliances and gas cooking. There is a private bathroom with bath and shower next to the Yurt for your entire use. There is a large patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Next to the yurt is a large trampoline you are welcome to use. There is another large garden area of apromiately 1.5k metres and there is picnic area. You can go hiking right from the property and in the next village are mountain climbing schools.
We are a family with 2 children and some pets. We are living separate to the yurt so you are independent but we are near by if you require our assistance and help settling into your unique holiday experience. My husband speak 4 languages fluently and has lived in the canary Islands most of his life so he has alot of knowledge and experience of the local canarian people and customs. He would be happy to take you on a private tour of the area. I am an artist enjoying painting wildlife.
This I s one of the best areas on 5he island for Rock climbing, hiking and cycling so we highly recommend this rural experience for the outdoor lover. There is a bodega close by to taste some excellent wine and wild mushrooms, a goat farm for great goats cheese. Some if the architecture is 15th to 17th century. Experience canarin tapas in the local bars and restaurants found in village. There is a aloe Vera farm see the guimar pyramids to see how the traditional guanche people lived.
