Pros: The apartment was very well equipped with full kitchen, lounge, dining bathroom and washing machine. There were a few provisions in the kitchen and washing powder, detergent etc which was good. The apartment was well sized and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and the location was quiet so sleeping was easy. Whilst the location was a little out of town it was a safe area for a single traveler which is important.
Contras: I had advised my arrival time (by train from Paris) but the train was 45 minutes late. I phoned the contact on arrival and was chastised for being late! An alternative person was sent to meet me to let me into the apartment and he clearly had other things to do. The introduction to the property was very fast, There were no instructions on how to use the kitchen facilities, the TV (with set top box) or the laundry. I felt like I was an inconvenience, I eventually worked out most of the facilities and realised how simple (and efficient) it would be for a laminated page of instructions, suggestions and 'please don'ts' to be provided for guests - surely this would make things easier and ensure equipment was not misused or broken (I didn't!). I did notice that although the property was clean, there is a need for some maintenance - the dishwasher door is not working properly, the freezer needs defrosting, a day washing walls, cleaning inside kitchen drawers and cupboards, behind the washing machine etc would be good. The location is a little away from the city and from Port Olympic. This was initially a concern but is only a 20 minute easy walk to the city and 10 minutes to Port Olympic.
