Málaga está a 33 km. El aeropuerto más cercano es el de Málaga, ubicado a 25 km del Penthouse La Luna - La Cala de Mijas. La playa está a 7 minutos a pie.
For us, this a dream apartment, in Dream Garden, a private resident. La Luna has 125 sqm under roof and 240 sqm terrace. With such a terrace, with several seating areas and sun loungers, and with its own small pool, you almost do not have to leave the apartment. We are very concerned that the apartment should be practical. Of course we want it to be nice, yet practical. In the kitchen we got a wine-freezer, coffe-machine, water/ice-despenser and pretty well equipped. There are 3 bedrooms with king-size beds, one bedroom where you can separat the beds. There are 2 inflatable mattresses that can be used for those who want it, maybe sleeping under the open sky? We have now got a smart-TV in the master-bedroom, with Scandinavian, European and Spanish channels. In the red room we got a smart-TV and in the livingroom we have a projector and a big skreen, with all kinds of channels, apple-TV and Crome-Cast.
We are very happy for those who want to use La Luna, and are sure that a stay here provides a good experience. To ensure that La Luna appears to be a cozy and nice place to be, we would very much like to receive a text message or an email about things that are not good or things that are missing. This will be helpful to us. We also rent out our cabins on Trysil (mountain in Norway) and experience that most are very nice and obliging guests. We wish personal contact with you as a guest, and it is a good idea that key transfer takes place with key boxes, and your code will be given to you when you contact me (Lillann) before the rental period starts. We (Terje and Lillann) have 5 children that have all been / are very active. They are now adults and grandchildren have come and hopefully even more will come. Activities that we like are; handball, football, crosscountry and downhill skiing, ice skating, Ju Jitsu, table tennis, billiards, water skiing ....... La Luna is going to be a place where we gather our family, but we also hope that more people may want to use La Luna several times. There are many weeks in a year :-)
Dream Gardens has an fantastic location in La Cala de Mijas with walking distance to the beach (7 min). The nearest shop is just across the street. There is currently some construction activity in the area which can cause some noise and dust. We apologize for this and hope that everyone can help to keep the terrace as clean as possible, using the water hose. Dream Garden has an outdoor infinity pool There is a SPA with indoor heated pool, Finnish sauna and Turkish bath (open 1.October to 31.May). There is a fully equipped gym+children's playroom. La Cala is a small jewel located between Marbella and Fuengirola. In La Cala there is a cozy main street, and there are small, narrow and cozy roads. These lead to the shops, bars and restaurants. A little further down comes the main square and the coast of the Mediterranean. The coast of La Cala offers long stretches of clean sandy beaches. You can enjoy wonderful walks on the seafront all the way to Calahonda and Riviera del Sol, but you can go all the way to Marbella if you walk along the beach after this and to Capophino beach. It is currently being built on boardwalk for this stretch as well as the other way to Fuengirola.
