Idyllic location in nature 1km from a gorgeous beach. The house is quite isolated in vineyards and nature, the nearest house is 400m away in Donon. There are two separate properties: the main villa with 4 double bedrooms and a pool, and a small house with a double bed and a 90cm wide sofa bed. There is no overlooking between the two properties. They can be rented together for larger groups. Leave the car parked and walk to the beach, to coastal hikes and to two restaurants.
Two architects from Canada but based in London.We came across this old ruin in 2004 and eventually bought it in 2010. It took 6 years to get planning permission and complete the project. It was very hard work but we are pleased with the result.
The stunning 3km Barra beach is within 15mins walk (mainly nudist at the end closest to us). Amazing seafood in local markets in Cangas and Bueu. Two very good restaurants within walking distance and a few excellent ones in Hio and Aldan.
