Información sobre el anfitrión
Casa de Arriba is just steps away from access to the hiking trails of La Maroma and Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama. After a days hiking you can relax on the terrace and have a bbq. For cooler evenings, snuggle in the bed/living room and with the log burner going you will soon have a warm and romantic atmosphere. There is also a smart tv with Netflix available (but not local tv channels). The kitchen is fully equipped with stove and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave etc. There is also a washing machine and related laundry equipment. There are some excellent restaurants and bars in the village such as La Maroma restaurant or Bar Angel where you can enjoy delicious local fare. Casa de Arriba is perfect for short breaks, your summer holidays or even as a winter home. Street parking is available 10 minutes away - uphill walk to the house from it. Portering services can be arranged to assist with luggage if required - separate charge payable to the porter.
Alan and Tracey hope you enjoy their house. We have created a romantic getaway so you can explore the beautiful village after taking in the grand vistas on the many hiking routes nearby and sample the delicious food in the local restaurants. Laid out over 3 floors you will find the kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor, the bed/living room on the 1st floor and the terrace/hot tub on 2nd floor. Please note that due to extra cleaning measures the hot tub may not be available immediately upon arrival.
Canillas de Aceituno holds many events from cycle and running races, religious festivals and even a party to celebrate the local sausage! Which by the way is one of many of the local tasty foods which can be tried in restaurants such as La Maroma or try the paella which can be preordered and taken way from Bar Angel. The village is so pretty, the residents friendly and open, and along with various little shops and cafes etc, you can quite easily while away days and not want to go anywhere else. There is even a public swimming pool with a little bar/café if you don't fancy driving to the beach.
