I do not accept reservations of young groups under 25 years old. Lovely 18th-century house, located in the heart of the very old village of Vilassar de Dalt, up in the hills above the Maresme coast, 4 km from the sea and only 20 km from Barcelona. The house was built in 1786, we bought it late 2017 and have partially restored it We discovered beautiful old wooden beams under the horrendous plasterboard, the original main entrance door is still there, at the top of the stairs to the first floor, There are two small patios, one on the ground floor with stairs leading to the upstairs patio where you can have a BBQ and chill out in the warmer months. Ground floor: bedroom sleeps 2, lounge room, separate dining room, kitchen, bathroom in the patio. Second floor: 3 double bedrooms, hall, bathroom. Top floor: Chill out room, where you can read, relax....
The house is situated in a quiet street, during the day it is busy , local people doing their shopping, there is a very old bread shop that makes their own bread and pastries just 3 doors away where people come from quite far to buy, make sure you get there early to buy your fresh bread and croissants to avoid the queues! When there are local festivals the processions all pass down the street, they are fun to watch. On Wednesdays, just down the road, there is a local market which sells fresh fruit and veg, clothes... This is where you can park for free, but not on Wednesdays from 7.00 am- 5.00 pm, if you have a car I recommend that on Tuesday evening you park elsewhere Quiet peaceful location , this is a typical Catalan village, see how the real Spanish people live! 20 minute car drive takes you into Barcelona, or catch the train from the town of Premia de Mar, 5 minutes drive Just 3 minutes drive will take you to the village of Cabrils, or to the famous Isla Fantasy waterpark, kids love this Beaches 5-7 minutes drive away. Primavera Sound! Just 20 minutes drive .
