Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the capital of Tenerife. It’s a typical Spanish city and consists of neighbourhoods that mostly date from the 1890s to the 1930s, plenty of places to shop (shopping malls and independent shops), eat and drink, a bustling daily food and craft market and Sunday outdoor flea market. Stroll in numerous beautiful green parks (Parque la Granja and Parque García Sanabria), theatres, cinemas, an art gallery and public arts library by architects Herzog & De Meuro (Tenerife Espacio de las Artes), outdoor swimming pools that back on from the ocean and beautiful beaches just 10 minutes’ away by car/bus. The apartment is located in the center of Santa Cruz next to the famous Rambla. A short walk from the famous shopping street Calle del Castillo, nightlife area Calle la Noria, pedestrianised restaurant area Callejón del Combate, the daily market (Mercado de Nuestra Señora de África), Mercadona supermarket, Parque la Granja, Parque García Sanabria, El Corte Ingles department store, Plaza Espana and the tram which goes all around the city and onwards to La Laguna.
