Villa Rosamar is a large five bedroom house that sleeps up to 12. With three seperate bathrooms it is ideal for family groups. Outside is a larger than average private pool (7m x 4m). The villa is situated about 8km from the historic town of Sant Feliu de Guixols and 13km from the town of Tossa de Mar. Located in the Rosamar development the villa is 750 meters from a wonderful sandy beach Canyet de Mar. At the beach there is a family restaurant, Restaurant Rosamar and a snack bar on the beach for lunches and cold drinks. The villa is set over three levels. The upper floor has a large kitchen an open plan living/dining room opening onto a terrace and a small bathroom with a shower. On the middle floor are a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms all opening onto terraces with built in wardrobes and ceiling fans. The fourth bedroom is a bunkroom. On this level there is a family bathroom with a shower. On the ground floor there is a large double bedroom opening out to the terrace and the pool and a lounge which doubles as a twin bedroom at night. This floor also has a family bathroom with both a shower and a bath together with a washing machine.
Sant Feliu was one of the most important trading ports for corks for the wine industry in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and this is evidenced today in the many fine historic buildings. In the 1930's the area became fashionable as a holiday destination and Gaudi designed one of the fabulous art-deco villas that line the promenade at the nearby Sant Pol beach. There are numerous excellent restaurants and bars serving fresh fish and tapas. Only one hour north of Barcelona, Sant Feliu is the perfect base to explore the Costa Brava.
