The Villas Parque Mirador offer a beautiful view over the Atlantic Ocean and the full southern horizon-semicircle from sunrise to sunset. The villas are situated directly on top of Playa de Santiago, an old fishing village, unspoiled by mass tourism, with its few but wonderful restaurants in the harbour, where time almost has gone by without a trace. There is a path along the cliff leading down to the village (nightly illuminated) giving you the opportunity to walk down in less than 15 minutes. The pebble beach right in the village, as well as the eastward following bays, are sparsely populated, ideal to calm your mind. Westward of the villas, there are neighbouring plantations and a beautiful coastal path showing the utter wilderness of the island. Explore La Gomera by walking one of the many and beautiful hiking trails, or go on a guided tour on an –bike!
